The Significance of Science
Many of us began using science at a very early age and will continue to do so throughout our lives. The person who mixes different flavors of juice together in hopes of finding a combination that tastes great is using Chemistry. Drinking orange juice to help fight the flu or not drinking milk because it causes pain are decisions based on Biology. The quarterback determining how hard to pass the ball to his receiver in order to beat the coverage is using Physics. Choosing the right temperature and length of time for cooking a steak, forming an exercise plan to gain muscle or lose weight, and picking the right time to go fishing are all examples of using science in everyday life.
